The November Club preorder is open until 17th November 🩷
What is the Snazzy Sock Club? If you like snazzy socks as much as I do, let me design a new surprise colourway for you every month, and let us adorn our feet with woolly beauty.
This almost finished sock (I'm so close!) was the October club, and I'm so super dooper proud of it... I don't know how I'll make November even better, but I'll try my best! 😃
Sometimes a colourway will have one half dyed in one colour, with the other half either speckled (e.g. It's A Quest!), or handpainted in short sections of other colours (e.g. any of the Luminas, or Jellyfish Midnight Rave) - these tend to create microstriping in a knitted sock. And sometimes a colourway could be all short sections, and these tend to create a mix of microstriping and colourpooling (e.g. ZING! or Desert Sunset).
You can choose to receive a 50g or 100g skein of the main colourway as per your needs, depending on whether you want to make shorties, or full socks, or maybe just one odd sock (I'm a big fan of this, you never get second sock syndrome!), or maybe you can get two socks out of one 50g skein if you use a contrast for the socks and toes!
Then you can also choose whether to receive a contrast semi-solid in either a 10g or 20g skein, or not. I will do my best to choose a colour I think will make the main colourway really pop. Sometimes the contrast colour may be the same as a previous month - I'm not going to pressure myself to create a new one each time, as sometimes the good old classics like black, neon pink, or neon purple, etc. are the best option!
Limited availability - I only dyed up a few bundles to use up the last of my slub stock, then I don't know if/when I'll get any back in again.
You'll receive 2 x 100g Merino/Nylon Superwash slub fingering weight yarn, to make your own beautiful textured shawl with, in the colourways Parma Violets and Starfall ✨✨
The little cute slubs make this an incredible tactile yarn to work with, I find they add some extra sensory joy (and the neon rainbow speckles look banging on them 👌).
Shown in my Be Bold crochet shawl pattern.
